Welcome to Hogtoberfest 2025

Hogtoberfest is our annual Fall 15s rugby tournament — a day of fierce competition, great food, local social, and community spirit. This year, six teams from across Florida will come together for a full day of 15s rugby, celebrating camaraderie, culture, and the sport we love.

About the Event

Hosted by the Gainesville Hogs Rugby Club, Hogtoberfest is more than just a tournament — it’s a celebration of teamwork, resilience, and local pride. Founded in 2003, the Hogs represent Gainesville’s deep rugby roots and a commitment to integrity, passion, solidarity, discipline, and respect — the core values of rugby.

Off the field, we bring the same energy to our community: giving back, building partnerships, and creating an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome — players, fans, families, and first-time spectators alike.

Details

Join us after the final whistle for the official Hogtoberfest Social, Hosted by the Alachua Sports Pub and organized in collaboration with the Alachua Business League.

The celebration kicks off between 5:00–6:00 PM, with the trophy presentation taking place at the Pub. Food and drinks will be available both outside under the tents and inside the pub.

We, the Hogs, would like to thank the Alachua Business League, who have coordinated with local vendors and secured tents to make this community event possible.

Another big thank you from the Hogs goes out to our generous sponsors, donors, and vendors who have contributed to the success of this event and the growth of this wonderful sport and community.
